Terms of Service
CPSCReady provides software for organizing product, test, lab, CPSC rule, and contact information into certificate packet artifacts, broker-ready certificate details, Product Registry ID lists, Product Registry CSV drafts, request templates, broker summaries, and missing-data checklists.
You are responsible for your account, the information you enter, the files you upload or references you provide, and any business decision made using generated outputs.
No guarantee of acceptance or clearance
CPSCReady does not guarantee that any output will be accepted by CPSC, CBP, a customs broker, carrier, freight forwarder, marketplace, testing laboratory, or other third party. CPSCReady does not guarantee import clearance, release timing, Product Registry acceptance, or marketplace compliance.
No broker, legal, or filing services
CPSCReady is not a customs broker and does not file customs entries. CPSCReady does not provide legal, compliance, customs, tariff classification, product safety, laboratory, or regulatory advice. Managed Product Registry setup beta services, if separately agreed in writing, may involve Product Registry data-entry assistance only after importer authorization, importer review, and importer approval. They do not include customs filing.
User responsibility
You are responsible for determining applicable CPSC rules, confirming whether CPC or GCC is appropriate, verifying CPSC rule codes, test reports, testing exclusions, exemptions, manufacture data, Product ID values, Version IDs, records contacts, tariff codes, importer-of-record details, and all information sent to trade partners.
You may not use CPSCReady to create false, misleading, unlawful, or unauthorized certificates or draft data.
Generated outputs are provided as document-preparation assistance and are not a substitute for qualified legal, compliance, laboratory, customs, marketplace, or regulatory advice.
Checkout is handled through Stripe for eligible packet exports. Managed Product Registry setup beta work, if offered, may require a separate support intake or written agreement before work begins.
Paid prep and refunds
Paid packet prep outputs are digital document-preparation outputs. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, fees are non-refundable after prep work or export access is provided, except where required by law or where CPSCReady determines that a billing or technical issue prevented access to purchased outputs.
Documents, uploaded files, and deletion
Packet records and uploaded files are stored in your authenticated workspace. File metadata is used to organize packet drafts and missing-data checks. Do not upload records unless you are authorized to use them. You can delete saved packet drafts and uploaded files from your workspace. Certain billing, fraud-prevention, support, security, and audit records may be retained as legally or operationally necessary.
Support scope and liability
Support is limited to product usage, formatting, export, and packet-preparation questions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CPSCReady is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the software or generated outputs.
Paid multi-SKU and managed plans may include 1:1 email support and assignment of an account manager after checkout. Account-manager support is limited to packet-preparation coordination, product usage, output iterations, and support routing. It does not include legal, compliance, customs, filing, tariff, laboratory, or regulatory advice.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
